Warranty


IMPORTANT: PRODUCT WARRANTY REGISTRATION
For this Warranty to be valid, you must within 14 days following the purchase or installation of the applicable Product, register such Product with Tiger Tool International Incorporated (the “Manufacturer”) by submitting to the Manufacturer online (www.airworks.com) or by email (service@airworks.com), and if directed by the Manufacturer by using the Manufacturer’s specific Warranty registration form in effect from time to time, the serial number for the applicable Product(s), the make, model, vehicle identification number, mileage and engine hours of the vehicle in which such Product(s) was installed, the date of such installation, and the name of the Airworks Dealer who conducted such installation (unless such Warranty registration has already been completed, and such information provided to the Manufacturer, by your Airworks Dealer). Any failure by you to complete such Warranty registration in this manner will void the Warranty and will result in you bearing all costs of any warranty repair claims associated with such Product(s). If you have any questions regarding your Airworks Brand Product or the terms of this Warranty, please contact your Airworks Dealer who sold and/or installed the Product.

WARRANTY TERM
The term of the respective Warranties set out herein shall commence upon the earlier of: (i) the date of original purchase of the Product; (ii) the date of installation of the Product; and (iii) two years following the manufacture date of the Product, regardless of whether or not the applicable Product has been sold or installed by such date (the “Commencement Date”).

When requesting Airworks Warranty coverage, proof of purchase (including the Airworks Product serial number) and the Make, Model, Vehicle Identification Number and registered owner of the vehicle in which such Airworks Product has been installed, are required. 

Be advised that in most situations problems relating to the operation of the Airworks Product is as a result
of battery issues. Accordingly before contacting your Dealer or the Manufacturer, please check the Product’s batteries to ensure that they are working properly.

CONDENSER/EVAPORATOR UNIT LIMITED WARRANTY 
ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR; TWO YEARS PARTS ONLY. This Warranty covers parts and labor for a period of one calendar year from the Commencement Date and parts only coverage continues for a second calendar year from the Commencement Date. This is a limited Warranty and the Airworks Product cannot be returned or refunded after being installed or used. All Warranty repair work must be approved by the Manufacturer and must be carried out by the Dealer who sold and/or installed the Airworks Product (or such other Authorized Repair Facility or Qualified Technician approved in advance by the Manufacturer).

BATTERY BOX LIMITED WARRANTY 
ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR. This Warranty covers parts and labor for a period of one calendar year from the Commencement Date only, and is limited to the battery box and internal components, but expressly excludes the batteries themselves (see below for battery warranty information). This is a limited Warranty and the battery box and related components cannot be returned or refunded after being installed or used. All Warranty repair work must be approved by the Manufacturer, and be carried out by the Dealer who sold and/or installed the Airworks Product (or such other Authorized Repair Facility or Qualified Technician approved by the Manufacturer).

WARRANTY SUMMARY
Warranty coverage for the first calendar year from the Commencement Date is for the replacement of defective parts and directly related labor charges only, and does not cover incidental or consequential damages of any nature or kind (including without limitation loss of income or profits) and/or any other labor costs. Warranty coverage for the second calendar year from the Commencement Date (Condenser/Evaporator Unit only) is for replacement of defective parts only. 

This Warranty does not cover failures due to things such as misuse, lack of maintenance, or improper installation. This Warranty does not cover discoloration and/or component failure due to a hostile environment, the effects of corrosion, damage from accidents, issues caused by abuse or neglect, or problems resulting from acts of nature. 

Warranty coverage is not expressed or implied for damage caused by excessive heat or abrasive/chemical cleaners, as these may cause discoloration and/or a breakdown in the integrity of covers, component housings, related electrical wiring, mounting components, hoses and clamps. Chips, fading or scratches to components are not covered under this Warranty, including damage caused to the vehicle by an Airworks Product or part.

The Warranty does not extend to cover travel time to your Airworks Dealer or to any other Authorized Repair Facility or Qualified Technician, nor does it cover vehicle or driver down time. The Owner is responsible for all costs related to accommodations, meals and incidental expenses incurred as a result of an Airworks system malfunction. 

Warranty coverage does not apply for diagnosis and repairs caused by problems not directly related to the Airworks system. 

This Warranty is void if the Airworks system has been modified or altered in any way, or non-standard/authorized Airworks parts are installed. 

This Warranty is only transferable when sold along with the vehicle on which it was originally installed and for which the Warranty was registered. 

Except for the limited Warranty provided herein, the Manufacturer makes no other express or implied warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties implied by statute or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permissible by law. To the extent any provision contained herein is invalid, illegal or incapable of being enforced by reason of any rule of law, equity or public policy in a particular jurisdiction, then such provisionwill be severable in such jurisdiction without affecting any other provisions contained herein, all of which will continue in full force and effect.

BATTERY WARRANTY EXCLUSION
All warranty issues related to the batteries themselves are expressly excluded from this Warranty and the Manufacturer shall have no obligations with respect to same. Any such warranty issues with respect to the batteries should be addressed directly to the applicable battery manufacturer.
